I GOT A SAVIOR ~ Song By • Rich Kollenberg – Bio: This song was written one evening in my bedroom as I sat on the corner of my bed and reflected on what God has done for me and how I sometimes fail to realize that He’s always been there for me, even in the darkest parts of my life. I was a drug addict for 25 years and constantly ran from God. He was always there for me as I looked back at the footprints in the sand. After writing this song, when my producer JK Northrup heard it, he jumped at the chance to participate. I wanted the message of this song to state that we still have a Savior, no matter how much we feel we have hurt others or God. No matter how hard it’s been, how confused we get, or how much shame we have, the fact that we have a Savior is indisputable, and maybe we need to repeat it enough until we believe it.
